hometown ho-down

this weekend was the manhattan beach hometown fair - a fun spectacle of artwork, children and yummy smells in the air.  i love to come home - to sleep in the bedroom i grew up in and be chauffeured to fancy restaurants around town by my parents.  generally, i think i take this whole world for granted and after this week's crazy events i have vowed to make this place more sacred than ever.  anyway, saturday at the fair was HOT.  crazy 89 degree sweaty hot - and i was not dressed very appropriately until around 5 pm when the clouds rolled in.  here's what i wore:

fanny pack attack

my new FAVE accessory - fanny pack/belt/studded contraption.  after drooling over this little baby my momma gave it to me for my bday last night and i haven't taken it off once!!

the little pouch is the PERFECT size for everything necessary for a little shopping outing!  wallet, lip gloss and phone.  done.  love!
