this weekend my family moved out of the house i have lived in (slash called "home"} for the past 20 years...and although the entire ordeal has been slightly unsettling {or traumatic, as i believe the dog may say...} it has been a hugely creative process as i set out to decorate my own space {which includes my own bathroom [!!]}  here are some snap shots of some details i am particularly fond of!! i sometimes fantasize about living in a big ancient house with years and years of history full of hand painted tiles and old wood floor...then i am rudely awakened by the newness of everything.  i would rather walk on hot coals than live in one of those "modern" cookie cutter houses.  ugh.  i think it's almost time for me to get out of southern california for a while...

also totally into these dark altars and the indian/mexican/voodoo sort of polytheistic magic.  dont worry i wont be holding any seances anytime soon...xx
